It has to be assumed that the car must have been dry stored for a huge amount of its life given its condition and the freshness of the paintwork and the interior that looks almost factory fresh. The car had just one owner for nearly all of its life until September last year when we sold the car to its current keeper. For reasons that will remain personal to the gentleman, we have been given the duty to sell the car for him and it is with pleasure that we now do so. The car was serviced initlally and then looks like it came out every year pretty much to have its MOT and not much else which explains, understandably why it had no need for service whilst stored. We conducted a service prior to sale last September and the oil that came out was like new as was the filter ! , The 2.4 Vtec Accord of this generation is the stuff of Legend for the Honda community and to find an example like this is a once in a lifetime occurrence. The engine has a quality of engineering that matches any other engine Honda has ever produced, including more exotic cars. The power delivery, mechanical refinement and reliability are quite astonishing for a mass produced car. It powers through a wonderfully slick and precise gear box and when combined gives one of the greatest powertrains available. Driving the car you are immediately aware of how supple the ride is yet how precise and neutral the handling of the car is too. The only minor issue is the electric tailgate needs a helping hand going up but is fine going down and works perfectly manually.
